How we work
Technical text does not forgive approximation: a unit of measurement, a component designation or a part number translated as something merely similar makes the document unusable in practice. We therefore assign translators with the relevant engineering background, maintain a project glossary, and check figures, designations and conformity with applicable standards as a separate step. Formatting is preserved: tables, clause numbering, figure captions and cross-references stay where they belong.

Frequently asked questions
Is the document layout preserved?
Yes. Editable files are worked on in their original format; for scans and drawings we reproduce the structure — tables, clause numbering, figure captions. If the document has to be delivered in a specific format for onward publication, tell us before we start.
How is terminology kept consistent across a large file?
From several documents upward we maintain a project glossary and translation memory. The same component or process is then designated identically across every file, and in later batches too, if the cooperation continues.
Can drawings be translated?
Yes, provided the lettering is legible. For non-editable files we agree how the result is delivered: as a separate table of correspondences, overlaid on a copy of the drawing, or fully reproduced in an editable format.
Who verifies the terminology?
Beyond the translator, the document goes through an editor. For a narrow field we bring in a specialist with matching experience; if you have an in-house glossary or previously translated material, we work from it; that is more reliable than any external dictionary.
Do you handle tender documentation?
Yes. Tenders depend on both deadline and completeness of the file, so the scope of work and a schedule for delivering it in parts are agreed at the outset.
