How we work
Lithuania is one of the most frequent destinations for Ukrainians, and documents usually go there at short notice: residence permits, admission, employment, company registration. Lithuanian institutions generally require notarial certification of the translation, and some procedures also require an apostille on the original. Names need particular attention: Lithuanian declines surnames and adds its own endings, so spelling in documents is agreed in advance to match the passport.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my surname look different in a Lithuanian document?
Lithuanian grammar adds endings to foreign surnames, and in local documents that is normal. In the translation we keep the spelling from the international passport and do not conceal a discrepancy where the original has one.
Is notarial certification required?
For most Lithuanian institutions, yes. We check the specific requirement before starting, since redoing a certified file costs more.
Is an apostille needed?
For official Ukrainian documents, usually yes. Lithuania is a party to the Hague Convention.
Lithuanian and Latvian — will one translation do?
No. They are different languages and different states, despite both being Baltic. A Lithuanian institution will not accept a Latvian translation.
