How we work
Slovakia is a neighbouring country, which is precisely why documents go there often and at short notice: residence permits, admission, employment, company registration. Institutions there mostly require a translation by an authorised translator with their own stamp — which is not the same as Ukrainian notarial certification. We establish the specific institution's requirement before starting, so that the finished file does not have to be redone on the spot.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Slovak sworn translator?
For many institutions, yes — Slovakia has the úradný prekladateľ, whose stamp is required instead of or in addition to Ukrainian certification. Tell us where you are submitting and we will check what is needed.
Is an apostille needed on Ukrainian documents?
Usually yes, for official documents. The apostille goes on the original and the document is then translated together with it.
Slovak and Czech — will one translation do?
No. The languages are close but these are different states; a Slovak institution will not accept a Czech translation. Submitting in both countries requires two translations.
How long does it take?
A standard file takes a few working days; longer with an apostille, since that depends on the issuing authority.
